The morning adhkar (أَذْكَارُ الصَّبَاحِ) are a set of authentic supplications recited after Fajr until sunrise. They are a daily shield — protection from harm, forgiveness of sins, and a heart anchored to Allah before the day begins. When to recite the morning adhkar
The morning adhkar are recited after the Fajr prayer until sunrise. If you miss that window, most scholars allow reciting them up to midday (Zuhr), but the best and most rewarding time is right after Fajr while you are still on your prayer mat.
The morning adhkar — key phrases
1. Ayatul Kursi (×1)
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ… Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum, la ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm… — Quran 2:255 · whoever recites it in the morning is protected until evening
2. The three Quls (×3 each)
Surah al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq and an-Nas — three times each. The Prophet ﷺ said they "will suffice you against everything." (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi)

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillah, walhamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah… — Sahih Muslim

Morning vs evening adhkar
The morning and evening adhkar are close counterparts. The morning set is recited after Fajr; the evening adhkar after Asr until Maghrib, with small wording changes (for example Amsayna "we have entered the evening" instead of Asbahna). Keeping both is one of the most beloved daily routines in the Sunnah.

How long do the morning adhkar take?
The full set takes about five to ten minutes. The core — Ayatul Kursi, the three Quls and SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi ×100 — takes just two to three minutes if you're short on time.
Can I read the morning adhkar from my phone?
